Pat Leach is Director of Lincoln City Libraries, where she has worked for 30 years.  She's finishing up her annual project of reading "all of most and some of all" of the ALA Notable Books list for adults.  She blogs about that project and other library-related topics.  Her top concerns are continuing education and motivation of library staff, the library horizon, and communicating our commitment to libraries.

-------------

Robin Clark is the Director at Sump Memorial Library in Papillion since December 2008. She is adjusting to her new job and and living back in Nebraska. She has a strong interest in technology because of her computer services background. She has presented at both NLA and MPLA. She is interested in change and the transition process from what has always been done to what needs to be done and how it is accomplished in libraries. Robin is active in NLA and is currently the PLTS Vice Chair.

Marty Magee is the Nebraska and Education Liaison for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, MidContinental Region and has been in this position since 2003.     Her interests are promoting health education (of course) ,  through conference exhbits, presentations, webinars, classes, articles and anything else she can think of!  Special sub-interests within the library world are the business side, use of technology, and keeping people motivated to learn.  If you're not on the train---you'll be left in the dust!   I suspect since those of us writing on the blog, are attending this session, we're all "on the train."

Wendy Anderson is the Manager of the Elkhorn Branch of the Omaha Public Library. She has worked in libraries since 1985.
She is also on the School board of St. Patricks Elementary School in Elkhorn, where the enrollment has topped 700 this year.
She acted as a library consultant to the 10 year old school as they planned their new media center which opened in the fall of 2008. As a new participant in Facebook she has found this as a handy way of communicating with family and friends on a global level. She loves to travel and has been able to use her art museum experiences to lead an Art Appreciation series at the Elkhorn Branch Library.
